The fifth edition of Art Basel Paris 2026 returns to the Grand Palais from October 23 to 25, 2026. It also marks the first edition under the direction of new director Karim Crippa, who will welcome 211 exhibitors from 41 countries across the fair’s three sectors, namely Galeries, Emergence, and Premise.

A New Director, A New Vision
In his statement, Karim Crippa emphasizes that Art Basel Paris has gradually become a genuine part of the city’s cultural life. According to him, the fair isn’t defined only by the quality of the presentations inside the Grand Palais itself. Just as important is the extraordinary concentration of activity around it, namely institutional exhibitions, cross-disciplinary encounters, and conversations. It’s precisely these that turn Paris fair week into a moment of exceptional cultural and market significance.

What’s more, more than 60 of this year’s exhibitors have a direct presence in France, underscoring the depth of the local gallery scene.
Who Will Be There
Alongside strong French representation, the fair will feature galleries from across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Countries represented include the United States, China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Lebanon, Indonesia, South Africa, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, and Tunisia. Nearly 30 galleries will also be presenting at Art Basel Paris for the very first time.
Another notable feature of this edition is a record 12 joint booths. These are presentations in which multiple galleries collaborate together. This reflects a growing culture of experimentation and cross-gallery collaboration within the fair’s main sector.

Programming Around the Fair
The acclaimed Public Program returns for its fifth edition, this time in partnership with leading Parisian institutions and with Miu Miu as the program’s official partner. The fair’s signature initiative, Oh La La!, in which a guest collaborator from outside the art world reworks the placement of works throughout the show, will take place on October 23 and 24.
